Add Life To Your Love Life

If there’s great sex in a relationship, you can bet the rest of the problems iron themselves out sooner or later. Agreed, sex is not the only thing that’s important, but if the passion’s missing, then it’s more a question of tolerating each other’s presence around the house. Couples who have been together a long time tend to view each other as just another person rather than the hot lover they once fell head over heels for. And as time goes by, sex with the same person becomes monotonous, even boring sometimes. What with kids, work and housework taking a toll on your energies, all you want to do by the time you hit the sack is go to the land of slumber. If you’re really interested in rekindling your romance, it’s time you took matters into your own hands:

Pack away those Pounds: Take a look at your wedding photos and compare them with the person who stares at you from the mirror. If you groan at the thought of how much weight you’ve gained, it’s time to start getting back into shape. Once we’re married, we tend to neglect the bodies we maintain religiously when we’re on the dating scene. Relive your courtship days as you lose weight; even a few pounds lost helps if you notice the renewed look of interest in your spouse’s eyes. And while you’re at it, give yourself a makeover that says you’re an adult rather than a parent or a spouse. Buy new clothes to go with your new look, and wait for the fireworks to begin.

Natural Viagra: Some foods act as aphrodisiacs and lend variety to the way you approach your love life. Whether you eat them off each other, feed each other or just eat them yourself, you can bet on an interesting time between the sheets.

Change is Good: Break the routine you’ve set and followed all these years. Steal away for a romantic weekend, or if your schedules don’t allow this, sneak out on a lunch date. Try out a sexual fantasy of your spouse’s that you earlier rejected as too kinky or too daring for your tastes.

Sexual Innuendos: More than dirty talk on the phone, it’s the text messages that are loaded with sexual innuendos and that indulge in clever word play that tend to turn most people on. Send them to your spouse during the day when you can’t get your hands on each other so that by the time you both get home, you’re headed straight to the bedroom, or maybe not!

Compliments and Consideration: Show a new side of yourself by not criticizing your spouse like you normally would. Instead, pay compliments and watch the change in their attitudes too. A happy spouse translates to a more enthusiastic partner in bed.

Read And You Be The Judge, What Feels Right?

'Become a Better You: 7 Keys to Improving Your Life Every Day' by Joel Osteen. There are few things I love to eat more than bread. I just love a good loaf of white bread. I eat it the way many people eat junk food (and, I suppose, one could argue that it is junk food). As I thought about Joel Osteen's new book, Become a Better You, I was reminded of that sad, pathetic little loaf of bread because this book, like that bread, is form without substance. This is Osteen's second book, and the follow-up to his bestselling Your Best Life Now. Like the previous title, this one features a picture of the smiling pastor on the front cover and offers seven steps to a better life. Like Your Best Life Now, much of the book follows this format. The book is divided into seven parts, which together are sure to improve your life every day. "What does it mean to become a better you? First, you must understand that God wants you to become all that He created you to be. Second, it is imperative that you realize that God will do His part, but you must do your part as well. As I closed the cover on this book I began to wonder, What is it that draws people to Joel Osteen? Why do people enjoy his teaching so much? I think the secret to Osteen's success is this: he teaches self-help but wraps it in a thin guise of Christian terminology. Thus people believe they are being taught the Bible when the reality is that they are learning mere human wisdom rather than divine wisdom. You Decide and please write a review and let me know your thoughts…

'The Third Jesus: The Christ We Cannot Ignore' by Deepak Chopra. Deepak Chopra's new book is not quite as controversial as I expected it to be. "The Third Jesus" seems to be written with a sense of compassion. For the first half of the book he expounds on Christ's teachings. I was impressed with his insight, wisdom, research and knowledge. There are some striking similarities between some Eastern beliefs and Jesus' message, like the idea of karma. For the most part this seems to make Jesus available to a larger audience. I thought this book would have been much more effective if it stayed true to its intent which is to show that we all have the power to become Jesus-like, instead of taking the occasional shots at politics and organized Christianity. Like I said about the ebook above… Read it and you be the judge… Use the Coupon Code below for a Discount on either of these two eBook Titles.

Practise What You Preach

picalttag

Attention Readers: This blog entry was written by Maverick Majors one of my eBooks About Crew.

'Your Best Life Now:'
by Joel Osteen. If you believe that Christianity is getting as much as you can as a fast as possible plus that new BMW in 7 easy steps - than this may be the book for you. If you believe, the Christmas spirit is berating "lowly" airline flight attendants during the Christmas travel rush than try this one out. If you are a Christian who believes in charity, helping others and volunteering during Christmas to help the poor than this is not the book for you. Many pastors and priests during this Christmas season are collecting toys for poor children, preparing Christmas dinners for the homeless and poor, visiting shut-ins and older people who are too ill to attend church, preparing for Christmas mass and services. Joel Osteen and his wife are skiing in Vail. Mind you, this took place back in 2005 but nonetheless, I just get a little uneasy about Super Pastors, of Super Church's. If you believe that baby Jesus was born in a manager of straw in a stable with gentle animals on Christmas Eve than you may not like this book. If you also believe that Jesus led a life of poverty and charity in helping others than avoid this one. If you believe that baby Jesus was born in a 5-star ski resort in Vail and that he wants you to follow seven steps to get that BMW 750i then read on. I recently watched a Sermon of Joel Osteen's on the T.V. He went on and on… about how to be comfortable in your own skin and not to worry about big noses, being ugly etc. that as Long as you Love yourself God will love you and you can expect to go to heaven. Bla, bla, bla. That same week I saw a 60 minutes or similar type interview with Joel and his wife Victoria and Those two have had more botox and collagen injections than Joan Rivers! Practice what you preach. I just can't believe that people don't see through this crap and his books have been on the NY Times Bestsellers List for weeks!

'The Daring Book for Girls' by Miriam Peskowitz. This eBook is chock-full of fascinating, fun and useful information. The sections on slumber party games and campfire "sit-around's" evoked happy childhood memories; and the sports, tire changing, and finance entries contained information I wish I'd had access too in my own youth! I am grateful to Buchanan and Peskowitz for solving the annual dilemma of what to give the girls --but this book is not just for girls and women. The teenage boys will probably be intrigued by it, too. Use the Coupon Code below to receive a Discount on either of These two eBook Titles.

Your Best Life Now: 7 Steps to Living at Your Full Potential by Osteen, Joel
What do you believe? And why is this important? According to Pastor Joel Osteen, it's because we will become what we believe.
